Welcome to Orange Bubble!
We used our lovely outdoor space to collect lots of natural materials such as petals, leaves, grass and twigs. Some of us even found some sand and stones. We were asked to design a picture or pattern using the materials we collected. We had so much fun and spent a long time being creative in making our pieces of art. We were especially excited to show to our grown ups when they picked us up!
And here are our fabulous finished works of art! We had everything from patterns, to people, to fairies, to the pine woods. Absolutely fantastic!
Our orange acrostic poems
We made pirate hats and pirate maps to help us to search for the buried treasure! We found a message in a bottle and in the message there was a clue we had to solve the clue to find out where to look for the next one. Eventually once we had solved all the clues we were rewarded with the treasure. We found a chest full of gold coins! We had so much fun and thoroughly enjoyed eating our treasure!
In honour of our butterflies waking up from our home learning videos we are having a minibeast couple of weeks! Today we talked about different minibeasts and used the pastels to draw one.
Here are our finished works of art!
Today we found lots of different materials outside to make our big houses. We collected twigs, leaves, moss, petals and flowers.
We used the materials we collected to make our bug houses we had so much fun making them!
Here are our finished houses we are so proud of what we made!
