Working with parents
In Reception we love to hear about what your children achieve outside of school. We send out our WOW! vouchers regularly. This is an opportunity for you to share any achievement with us, from dancing trophies to learning to ride their bike! We love to share these achievements with the class and then put them on our WOW wall for all to see! If you ever need any more please do not hesitate to ask.
Welcome to Kings Meadow!
At the end of last half term we welcomed our Reception class into school with a little bit of help from their year 6 buddies. We were really proud of both classes and Year 6 did a fantastic job of finding out all about their buddies and telling all in assembly!
We are having a busy half term! We have been learning all about winter. We used lots of describing words to describe winter and we enjoyed an ice experiment! We had an ice cave role play area we really enjoyed pretending to be ice kings and queens!
Chinese New Year is here again!
We learnt all about Chinese New Year, we know it is the year of the rooster and that red is a lucky colour in China. We made Chinese dragons and lucky red money envelopes. We had noodles for snack and we went to the hall to do some Chinese dragon dancing! We had so much fun!
